Name: M. Benfell Hanshi The late Michael Benfell Hanshi was Chief instructor of the Ryukyu School of Martial Arts and Founding Chairman of the Ryukyu Association of Karate and Gung-Fu. The Ryukyu School of Martial Arts in Nuneaton was his own club. He always took a very active roll in instructing his students, as well as being regularly invited to instruct at courses around the UK and Europe. The club is still run in the same spirit that he ran it when he was with us. |

Name: D. Atkins Shihan Chief instructor of the Ryukyu School of Martial Arts and Grading Officer of the Ryukyu Association of Karate and Gung-Fu. Atkins Shihan trained with Benfell Hanshi since the age of 8 and now actively passes on his knowledge and experience within the club and as a guest instructor at various courses around the UK and Europe. |

Name: J. Rowland-Jones Shihan Dojo Senior and Treasurer of the Ryukyu School of Martial Arts. Sensei Rowland-Jones is also Secretary and Treasurer of the Ryukyu Association of Karate and Gung-Fu. He is also a Senior Instructor of the Junior Club. |
